Somedays you get to experience something amazing, do something that is life changing. For me it was visiting the SOS Wildlife Centre in Agra, India. I had no idea the stories of these beautiful giants would touch my heart, all of the elephants had a story, each one more heartbreaking then the last. But luckily for these elephants they had been given a beautiful second chance. Today I was lucky enough to help bathe, a 42 year old blind elephant named Coconut. Being so close to something so incredibly powerful and beautiful was amazing, their gentle spirits touched all of us as we basked in their presence. But let me tell you, although they have wisdom in their eyes they also have cheekiness. Their personalities were hilarious, and I loved watching their playfulness. Ive never smiled and laughed so much, than in those couple hours.
